What’s the difference between Garmin, Oura Ring, & Whoop?

What’s the difference btwn Garmin, Oura, & Whoop?

If you're not sure which biometric tool you need, here's what I learned from my experience of the 3 devices in terms of functionality, battery life, investment, and overall use.

Although these 3 devices are similar, they are not the same. The Garmin is an great overall device that tracks activities via GPS and offers numerous features such as music, wallet, etc while the Oura & Whoop are designed to aid in tracking recovery via HRV & sleep. Some features overlap all 3 but I believe that data combined from an activity tracker (Garmin) and a recovery device (Oura or Whoop) delivers the best information for peak performance.

I am currently using the Forerunner 245 Music + Oura Ring as March 2021 - for me this made the most sense data, convenience and investment wise but each to their own!
